Steps:
- As the ball approaches in the air, adjust your body so that you’re in line with its path and your body is behind the ball.
- Lift your foot off the ground and position your foot so that the laces of your boots are facing the ball.
- Point your toes down and lock your ankle. 4) As you make your initial contact, pull your foot back as much as you need to cushion the ball so that it does not bounce away from you.
Tips:
- Trapping the ball is like catching eggs. You need to cushion the weight of the ball so that it does not bounce away from you.
