Steps:
- In the penalty, each player on team one (yellow) has a ball while being marked by a player on team two (red) who is trying to steal the ball.
- If the player on team two (red) steals the ball, the player dribbles out to the sidelines and leaves the ball there. The player then joins back into the game. The player from team one (yellow) whom lost their ball pairs up with a player who still has their ball.
- The player from team two (red) coming back into the game joins up with one of his players, now defending 2 v 2 against the newly formed pair. Meanwhile, the other players are continuing to play 1 v 1 until they lose their ball.
- Once another ball is won and dribbled out of bounds by the defending team, a three-some is now formed and defended against.
- Once only one ball is left for team one (yellow), it becomes 4 v 4. Game ends when team two (red) wins the last ball and dribbles it out of bounds. Then switch roles. The team that maintains possession the longest wins.
Setup:
- Use penalty area or equivalent size area
- Two teams: Team 1 (all players have a ball), Team 2
Variations:
- Make field smaller -Once its 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4, limit touches to make more challenging.
