Steps:

  1. Set up a grid 15x10. Split the grid in half and have three attackers (red) and one defender (blue) in one half of the grid, and the other two players in the other half.
  2. The three attackers (red) start off with the ball. The drill begins when the three attackers (red) start passing the ball around to each other. The defender (blue) is trying to tackle/intercept/steal a pass to gain possession of the ball. Once the defender (blue) gains possession, the defender (blue) tries to immediately pass it to his teammates in the other grid, where he then joins them to keep possession. At that point, one of the attacking (red) players must go into the opposite grid and defend, trying to win the ball back.

Setup:

  • Set up a grid 15x10 yards
  • 6 players: (3 attackers (red), 3 defenders (blue))

Variations:

  • You can make this game more advanced by bringing in more players and making it 4v2 and widening out the filed a bit.
