Steps:
- Set up a grid of cones (30x30) with two teams in the middle and the leftover players on the outside of the grid evenly spaced around it.
- The object of this drill is for the two teams in the middle of the grid to maintain position. Once a player in the middle wins position of the ball, his team is on offense and the other teams goes on defense. Keep possession by playing the ball to the players on your team. You can use the players lined up outside the grid as neutral players. If you play the ball to a player on the outside of the grid, they have one touch to play it back to you or another player on the offensive team.
Setup:
- Set up a grid, 30x30 with two teams in the middle and the left over players on the outside of the grid evenly spaced around it.
- 6 players: (3 attackers, 3 defenders) (minimum required)
Variations:
- Note: To keep score, a team maintaining position for ten consecutive passes gets 1 point. And a wall pass with a neutral player on the outside of the grid is equal to 2 points.
