Juggling – Thigh
Ball Control Drills - Juggling Drills
Saturday, 08 December 2007
Steps:
Juggling is a useful exercise for improving overall ball control and balance. Juggling has a steep learning curve so do not get frustrated if it takes you some time to get better.
- Start with the ball in your hands and toss the ball a few inches above your head.
- As the ball is traveling downwards, bend your knee and lift your leg so that your thigh is parallel to the ground. Bounce the ball straight into the air and catch the ball with your hands. Repeat with the other leg.
- Progress by adding more juggles in between each catch. You should bring your leg back to the ground between each juggle.
- Continue to do this with both legs until you are comfortable juggling without using your hands at all.
- Count the number juggles you get and try to beat your best score each time you juggle.
