Steps:

  1. Four players on the outside of the circle (blue), one with the ball at their feet. There are two players in the middle of the circle, one offensive (red) and one defensive (yellow).
  2. The offensive player (red) in the center of the circle will make a run toward the player on the outside of the circle whom has the ball. The player on the outside of the circle will pass the ball to the player making the run. The other player in the circle is trying to defend the player receiving the ball, or try to cut off the pass.
  3. If the offensive player (red) in the center of the circle is able to receive the ball, they try to pass it to a different player on the outside of the circle and repeat the process. If the defending player (yellow) in the center of the circle wins the ball, they now become the offensive player, trying to pass the ball to a player on the outside, and the offensive player now becomes the defender.
  4. Player receives 1 point if they successfully receive the ball and pass it to a different player on the outside. Switch in two new players after 1 minute. Most points wins.

Setup:

  • Use center circle of equivalent size.
  • 6 players: 4 on the outside of the circle and 2 in the middle (1 offensive and 1 defensive)
  • 1 ball starting with any player on the outside.

Variations:

  • Make field smaller.
  • Limit one touch to receive and one touch to pass it off.
