Steps:
- Player A (black) is only allowed in zone 1, player B (blue) and C (yellow) are allowed in zone 1 and 2, and player D (yellow) is only allowed in zone 3.
- Player D (Yellow) starts off with the ball passing it to player C (yellow). Player C can either play the ball back to player D (yellow) or try to beat player B (blue) and dribble or shoot on goal.
- If player B (blue) wins the ball or if player C (yellow) scores or the ball goes out of bounds, play is over and starts from the beginning.
Setup:
- Extend 18-yard box 35 yards out from goal.
- Break into 3 zones: zone 1 (18 yards), zone 2 (10 yards), and zone 3 (7 yards)
- 4 players: 1 keeper (A), 1 defender (B), 1 forward (C), 1 midfielder (D)
Variations:
- Player D only has 1 touch if played back by player C
- Player C must perfume a give and go with player D before they can go to goal.
- Player C must stay only in zone 2
- Player B can go in any zone
Tips:
- The defender (player B, blue) needs to pay attention to their defensive spacing from the forward (player C, yellow). If player B is too far off player C, when he/she receives the ball, they will have too much space and can easily get a shot off or have an easy run at goal. If player B is too close to player C, player C can break away easier and get in behind player B.
