Steps:

  1. Set up a field 25x15 with goals at each end, with a ball placed in the center of the field. Split the players into two groups (Blue and Yellow). Have one group of players’ line up at the corner of one side of the field, and the other group of players’ line up at the corner diagonal to the first group.
  2. Each player on the first team is given a number 1-n. Then give each play on the opposite team is given a number 1-n as well. When the coach calls out a number, the player from each team with that number runs down along the sideline of the grid, around the corner, and through their own goal and try to score on their opponent. If the ball goes out of bounds or someone scores, the play is over. Only let the players play for 60 seconds at a time.

Setup:

  • 25x15 grid with goals
  • 6 players minimum: (3 blue, 3 yellow)

Variations:

  • Once everyone gets the hang of it, the coach can start to call out multiple numbers.
