Touch Away From Pressure

ChalkTalk - ChalkTalk
Saturday, 17 May 2008

In this chalk talk we are focusing on touching the ball away from pressure once a player has received a pass.  This will allow the player space and time as a defender is approaching.  By touching the ball away from the defender, you are using the approaching defenders own momentum against them, making it harder for them to defend you and easier for you to make a pass to a teammate.
