Description
The lesson to take away from this video is the awareness of your passing options before and after you receive the ball. When Xavi wins the ball from the Russians you can see he is already looking down field trying to start the attack. He isn't just trying the win the ball, he is winning the ball and playing a through ball with one touch. His vision allows him to do both and see the through ball for Torres. Torres does well to also read that their is space open for a through ball and initiates the run for Xavi to pass into. The goal scorer, Villa, does well to follow the play and probably communicates to Torres (or Torres sees the run) as he is running into the box so that the pass can me made for the easy tap in.| < Prev | Next > |
