How to Analyze Your Game Film

I've played soccer since I was 5 years old and like most players the idea of filming your games in order to analyze and learn from it was not commonplace. It wasn't until I was in college and even more so in the pros that coaches would encourage us to watch games for learning purposes. To tell you the truth it's not easy to analyze your own game and if you don't know what to look for it will seem like there is no point to doing it. Here are some tips to help you out.

Shooting with Power

This past week I was teaching my team the fundamentals of shooting and the proper technique. During my session one of the players asked me how to generate more power on his shots and I told him its not how hard or far back you swing its how quickly you swing.
